What species is this? I found a nestling that looks exactly like this and I would like to take it to a rehab center but I am curious what species is this so that I can explain before driving in. Thanks!
Hello. These our infant Northern Mockingbirds, if they are one in the same as your nestling, that’s what you have. There are many nestlings with similarities and when they start feathering out you can identify them better. Sometimes they come into our shelter so tiny we label their paperwork UBB’s.
