I am in the process of research on these towers. I live along the Georgia coast and am working with Jekyll Island's Conservation Manager to build one of these towers. It is great to see one working. I’m glad that St V Day isn’t so big over here (UK). We do have the cards and roses and heart-shaped chocolates in the shops, of course, but there isn’t the pressure don’t you don’t need to think you’re odd if you ‘don’t have anyone’.

That was so many years ago, but when I read you Valentine piece, that old hurt feeling was relived. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.....Not true!
